The Hotel lies on a 7.5 acres ground, and is superbly located on top of a hill within the city itself, from which one can observe breathtaking view of Quito’s metropolis and mountains, some of them eternal snow capped. The Hotel was bult in the sixties and its special architecture received an award from the city, for which it has become an icon for the Ecuadorian hotel industry. The Hotel Quito building has three stories of guestrooms, and a small tower with seven floors with the famous Techo del Mundo (Roof of the World) Restaurant on top. A greenery echo, its beautiful gardens and recreational areas make the largest space available in the city amongst hotels, as well as 150 parking spaces plus porte cochére for buses.
